AME Inc. joins forces with one of the world's leading independent BMS providers through new acquisition

Conexus Inc., a Pennsylvania-based building automation and smart building technology company, has been acquired by Nordomatic Group, a global leader in intelligent Building Management Systems (BMS). This marks Nordomatic’s second BMS-focused acquisition in the United States, following its entry into the U.S. market with the acquisition of AME Inc.

Founded in 2004, AME has been at the forefront of the BMS industry in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, delivering exceptional building automation and system integration that have set industry standards. With a strong reputation for innovation, the company has cultivated a loyal customer base and achieved consistent growth. Joining forces with Nordomatic represents a natural next step in their evolution.

The combination of Conexus and Nordomatic creates a stronger platform for intelligent building solutions across North America. Conexus brings deep expertise in open, customer-centric building automation, integration, and facility technology services, while Nordomatic expands its international presence and enhances its ability to deliver end-to-end smart building and optimization solutions.

Customers of both companies will benefit from expanded geographic reach, broader technical capabilities, and an enhanced portfolio of smart building and energy-efficiency offerings. Conexus CEO Kurt Twiford noted that the acquisition represents the right path for the company’s people, culture, and future.
